Evaluation Results: No Treatment

It Appears You Do Not Qualify – You Are Already Represented or Receiving Social Security Disability.

Unfortunately, without ongoing medical treatment, receiving an approval for Social Security Disability benefits will be very difficult. Establishing a record of your medical treatment is extremely important in allowing the Social Security Administration to determine your eligibility for benefits.

The testimony of a treating physician is a heavily weighed factor in determining the legitimacy of your condition(s) and its debilitating effects. Without this medical evidence, the SSA may find your claim to be inadequate because your condition is not severe enough to warrant medical attention. Furthermore, visiting a doctor once will likely prove ineffective. The SSA not only needs to see proof of your history with this condition, but also believe that it will last the required minimum of 1 year. When seeing a physician once, then never again, it can be assumed that your condition has improved and that you no longer meet Social Security’s definition of disabled.

If you selected “no” in error, please return to the questionnaire and select “yes”. Then, proceed with the rest of the evaluation.
